Flew the Coop!

Well my baby mockingbirds:  Huey, Duey & Luey all left the nest!  Momma & Daddy Mockingbird have been on the warpath when anyone walked out into the yard and my poor little dog has been dived bombed and squawked at all day long for a week now.   I guess in this period after they get out of the nest, they may be on the ground some and momma & daddy are making sure they don't get hurt or ate.  It sure has been fun watching them!  Clear back to last winter when the daddy, Shammah had to fight the black birds  for every piece of food he could get ahold of.  Shammah and his little darlin', Sally sure were good parents to their little brood of babies.

1st Saturday

I wanted to thank everyone for their business on Saturday!  It was another great sale day!  We sold a lot of furniture and smalls.   Everyone is so excited to have 50% off and I'm glad that we are able to give this kind of savings to our customers.  I love the turnover this day allows me to have!  I like a fresh store as much as my customers!  We will be getting in a lot of new stuff so check often for first shot at choice items!  Thanks again and God Bless!

The baby birds have hatched!

My little mockingbird eggs finally hatched!  Aren't they the sweetest things!  I moved the grape leaves to the side so I could snap the photo and they instantly opened their beaks thinking it was momma bringing them something to eat.  Cute, cute, cute!!!
